CB Passive Income Review – Should you buy it, or not?
Welcome to our CB Passive Income Review for version 4.0. This system was created by Patric Chan, author of Wake Up Millionaire, CB Passive Income 4.0 is an affiliate marketing, turnkey proposal that offers you the chance to make money passively, online. (CB stands for ClickBank, which is an online marketplace.)
Get rich, passively.
CB Passive Income promises people who purchase the basic membership that Chan’s training will allow them to watch their money pile grow, while they put their feet up.
If you’re new to making money online, that’s a very attractive proposition, but it becomes even more attractive when Chan asks you some “what if” questions.
What if you could duplicate his online business model, without paying royalties or licensing fees?
What if he trained you to do that, free of charge?
What if he’d work for you – for FREE?
It’s a very attractive proposition, right?
What is included?
The software used by Chan generates a unique link, for your use only. When you click on it, you’re directed to a “secret web page”, where you’ll find the software you need and training resources.
What you’ll learn is how to use that secret link to generate subscribers. Everyone who clicks on your unique link will be driven to a “squeeze” or “landing” page, where they’ll be offered something very attractive and of high value for free, in exchange for their email address. If they buy the product, you get a commission!
And Patric Chan and his team do everything else. They write the content about the product you’re promoting. And what is that product?
Internet marketing courses and software created by Patric Chan, which is why he’s working for you, for FREE!
It’s this easy – you fill out the form at CB Passive Income. Very shortly, you’ll receive your unique link. From there, you begin to drive traffic to the page at the link. Chan continuously “monetizes” your page by sending out emails to the leads being generated.
Then, all you do is sit back and collect your commissions. Wow! Easy.
And then, there’s the training. You’ll learn to promote the page Chan has generated. This involves the use of social media like Facebook, Twitter and Google+. You’ll also learn how to create solo ads and YouTube marketing.
But there’s more. You’ll get training in using squidoo to generate traffic, as well as guest blogging, media releases and how to make reports go viral. In addition, Chan’s training covers how to deploy classified ads and driving traffic to your page by commenting on blogs.
Who is this product for?
CB Passive Income sells a dream. That dream is all about making money with a minimum investment of time and elbow grease. But internet marketing is a complex beast. It takes time to build up trust with list subscribers and trust means sales.
In this instance, you’re not doing the marketing yourself. Your only job is to promote your unique link as described above.
CBPI’s lure is that of money gained easily and legally. It’s for people who either want a passive income stream in addition to whatever they’re doing now, or as a full-time job.
What’s the buzz? How are others liking it?
When you do a search for products online, you will usually find a great deal of information – much of it conflicting. That’s certainly the case with this product.
While you’ll find many a chirpy, glowing recommendation out there for CBPI, between the roses you’ll also find many thorns. And those thorns make some rather salient points about the value of this product.
Some of CB Passive Income’s detractors are other passive income promoters, certainly. Many of them, though, are people who didn’t get what they thought they were going to and their numbers are growing.
Many of CBPI’s “unfans” describe it as a scam. But let’s assess it first, from the standpoint of what it’s got going for it.
The most attractive thing about this product is that there’s only a one-time fee for the basic membership and it’s under $50. The training is also reasonably good. You can complete it in very little time and instructions are clear and straightforward.
Customer service for CBPI is quite outstanding. You need to remember that Patric Chan became an international celebrity for doing exactly what he’s selling and he’s got a reputation to defend. Reputation management demands outstanding customer service.
If you don’t like CBPI, you can get your money back in 60 days. That buys you time. You can get to know the product and see how it works for you. You can also discern, in that time frame, the earning potential you’re looking at.
Finally, you get a very effective squeeze page. It’s a well-written effort, designed to drive sales. If you’re new to writing for internet marketing, that’s a major bonus.
Despite the promises of easy money, money online derives from conversions (people who accept your free offer and then buy the product you’re promoting). But unfortunately, the practice of repeatedly emailing subscribers often results in subscriptions falling off. People don’t care for spam and nowadays, they know what it is.
CBPI does, in fact, require some effort on your part. Marketing through social media and blog comments is quite involved. Your pitch must be soft and that requires skill.
Back to the buzz – those thorns among the roses we were talking about earlier are taking a chunk out of any profits you might hope to make. You’re promoting the product you’re buying, as well as Chan’s other products. How does that work for you with a ton of negative reviews online?
The upsells are a major problem with this product. They’re numerous and continuous. (See below). If you don’t buy them, however, you will have no control over your list, whatsoever.
CBPI’s basic membership costs $47. The Pro version (where you get control of your list) is $97. Where Chan really makes a buck, though, is from the Fast Cash upsell, which costs $49 per month and offers tips on how to make money on the internet through other means.
Ultimately, there are other programs out there that will get you the passive income you’re looking for much more effectively. However I believe that for the amount you are paying for this system, you can’t go wrong. You learn a lot, and all for under $50. In my honest opinion, that alone makes this product worth every penny. Please keep in mind, that as you expand in the internet marketing space you should be building a list of targeted followers. Remember, THE MONEY IS IN THE LIST!
This concludes our CB Passive Income Review, thanks for the taking the time to read our review! Until next time, take care!
